Close your eyes and imagine yourself strolling through the picturesque downtown area of Puerto Vallarta. You arrive at the malecon where you can see local artists interacting with tourists, stop to enjoy a performance and amidst the applause and laughter you can hear as a vendor approaches ringing the bell of his cart and his cries of “Lemon and vanilla ice cream!” – a classic dessert you can enjoy as you stroll through the famous cobblestone streets of Puerto Vallarta. Look up and you can see the famous sculptures along the boardwalk, such as “El Comedor Sutil de Piedra”, “El Niño en el Caballito de Mar” and “Buscando la Verdad”, all created by artists such as Alejandro Colunga, Sergio Bustamante and Pedro Tello. Don’t miss the opportunity to take pictures of your vacation adventures and follow the different rhythms heard in the bars and stores. Incredible aromas come out of the local restaurants, from the zarandeado fish, for example; ask for the menu and you will realize why this city has been catalogued as a gourmet capital where you can enjoy the exquisite dishes that are part of the culinary richness of this region.

The spectacular view of the Banderas Bay beach follows on its way to the famous Cuale River, located in what is known as the romantic neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta.

Turtle Release

The conservation and release of sea turtles takes place on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta between the months of July and December. Protecting them so that they can mature and return them to the sea to reproduce is very important for the survival of the species.

Marieta Islands

The islands are especially beautiful thanks to the reefs that surround them and the colors of the great diversity of fish that inhabit them. On Round Island there is an exotic beach in a crater with white sand, created by the explosion of a bomb during military exercises in the last century.

Whale Watching

Banderas Bay is the place to see these majestic cetaceans. The humpback whale is one of the largest whales in the world and can measure up to 15 to 19 meters long, and weigh approximately 36,000 kg.
